Anita

The last few beautiful days here in Chicago before winter gets here. I have shot in and around the Millennium park enough times, I only had to pick the spots. I decided to have the shoot as early as possible in the morning. We started the shoot around 7a.m in the morning.

Anita was such fun to shoot. She did mention that she hasn’t done much of photo shoots but the way she posed for the shots were extremely impressive. She was so patient through out the shoot when i was running around her to setup the lighting.

Strobist Info: All the shots below were shot with a single light(Canon 580 EX II) setup off-camera, triggered with Flex TT5 & Mini TT1. For few shots i used Westcott Reflector as a diffuser to let the sunlight in soft.

Anita came up with this idea of jumping high for a shot. I was using Canon 85 f/1.2L II(on a Canon 5D MII) and i should be yet another guy to mention that the focusing is slow on it. After few trial n errors, we caught this. Looks like, this is a photoshopped levitation picture but it’s not and Hey! I got a caption for this shot ‘no strings attached’ (pun intended!)

Thanks for stopping by.. 🙂
