Trip to paradise

The little township which i grew up in India, didn’t have Premium cable TV service(with all fun channels) till my 8th grade. Even when the town had it at a later point, my dad was in lots of hesitation to get it.. for the reason being, it would mess with my education but still we got it. It didn’t take long for me to get my eyes stuck to Star Movies most of the time. And most of the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies were in the pre-approved list for me and my sister to watch as they were unbelievably action packed.

This whole run back in history is only to mention, that’s how i ended up watching Arnold’s TRUE LIES. I still remember my first time watching the movie’s climax… “OMG..where in the world is this bridge..built on a sea?” Years later, when i realized what Google is(!)… I did figure out where the bridge was and trip to see the bridge became one of my ‘To-do’ things when i came here to uncle Sam’s land. And here you go… Now ya’ll know my reason to visit Key West, Florida.

I did make sure my trip had a drive through the overseas bridge…To and Fro. Key West is a place where you certainly get to see a huge variety of people from all over the world. I ended up eating a lot of sea food and met a whole lot of nice people who were so nice to interact with.

Para-sailing, Jet skiing, diving, snorkeling and what not…(Mom, if you are reading this… Yes, I ended up swimming in the sea again!..) I have only seen coral reef on Discovery and never this close. The coral reefs were just breath taking and i can just swim around and do it all day and btw..seeing a coral reef that close was one among the 50 things to do before i turn 30.. yaaaay… I would love to go back to this place again.

The place was fun.. fun and fun only… nuff said… 🙂

I traveled with all my photo gear. and It’s time to test the motorized dolly i built for video. Yes, the video is coming on in a post later. I know, enough of talking.. Here are the pictures.
